did i do de right thing??.. so wad now?

abt a few months back, a guy i see almost evryday (in buses and all) IM's me. we started chatting. he told me he has a dream girl in mind. not knowing who, i just gave him support to go woo de girl. soon enuff, he confessed, and said i was de girl. and det he loves me.

we went out a few times. but i cant deny de fact det i have got no attraction to him wadsoever!! in fact he cud get irritating at tyms. so when he asked me wad i tot abt him, i told him flat out, det i couldn't like him more den a fren.

now i dunno if wad i did was ryt or not. if so, why is he barely online at all any more?? and shud he be avoiding me?
i mean, we're still friends .....right?

I thought that you have done the right thing. If you don't like the person, it is better to tell him straight rather than let the relations drag on. If he is able to accpet such things, I don't see why he should avoid you. In fact he should be happy that you tell him your truth feeling and carry on to be friends with you. Whether both of you can be friends depends on how he think

you did the right thing, it was kind of you to tell him youre not interested other than being friends. but think of his feelings, he might be hurt. after all, its not easy to just think of the 'dream girl' as a lost case. in my opinion, he should be avoiding you until his feelings are settled. i mean, he could keep hurting himself, and he wont be a good friend to you anyway, you might just feel guilty..its sad but you cant tell him to stay.

dont worry about it. who knows, he'll come around when hes ready =)
