I'm going through so much pain and it's always been this way. I just need someone to talk to when I'm not doing so good. I don't have anyone that I can talk to right now.

well the good news is that at some point you were taught about faith in God and Probably that He cares about you . That has not changed and never will. I find how people handle the concept of Christianity in general, to be interesting and somewhat lacking. Compared to other religions it is probably less studied by those who profess to be Christians than any other religion. I hope as you continue your walk with God that you study His word diligently. I have always found many answers in it. If you do not understand it try a version for young people that paraphrases.
Everyone does need others to some degree it is too true! Pain in general is thought to be a negative thing. It is simply our body or spirit's way to alert us that something is wrong. The pain often gets worse when we put a band aid on a problem that really reqiures surgery or emotionally looking at where we are at and what does not feel right and what we CAN do to fix it. Also to begin to recognize what we cannot change but can accept that it exists even if we do not accept the affects of it on us. Learn your strengths and weaknesses and use them accordingly. Use your strengths to succeed at the positive and use your weakness to know what to avoid and when. In other words you would not probably join the wrestling team if you are 80 lbs soaking wet and all the others are 150 lbs. Perhaps some small person have have lots of tenacity and be able to throw those guys but if you are not that person leave it alone. One hard lesson for me to learn was to accept that for every thing I CHOOSE to do there is a consequence. It often may not be due to anything you do in which case you choose to fight or walk away. Just remeber, when we are baby Christians it seems that God carries us a lot but as we grow and learn He wants us to learn to make sound decisions and stand on our own two feet with His help when needed.God Bless Ronniea

I am so sorry that you feel your faith is at breaking point. I am in the same boat. it is 2007 and we do not have values much like we ust to. we live in a non caring world. i tried and i got abused. we live in a different world. I blame the entertainment industry that has a lot of bad messages to young people.I made up my mind the best way is to take charge. I have my own set of dvds and i do not watch much tv like i ust to. I do not watch the simpsons or reality shows. the tv industry has gone down hill and some other shows are more psychological edgy drama and i stay clear from that. the society has changed too much in the last five to ten years. so take charge and be realistic and do not be too hard on yourself God bless and good luck

A walk with Christ can be hard because we all will face so much trouble in this world, I went through the same thing for a while this is also called going through the desert where you feel lost, alone hurt and unreachable to God. But in the Bible it tells us that when we draw close to God he will draw close to us, keep going strong in your walk with the Lord, get with some of your christian friends that can encourage you in the faith. God will help you with some of these situations you've been dealing with.

I'm a catholic who lost the faith a long time ago. I have thought long and hard about re-finding religion, but all the events in my life, whether tragic or exhilarating, have never inspired me to give due thought and acceptance to the fact that religion is nothing more than an over-cooked conspiracy...I am not an Atheist, but i have a lot of unanswered questions.

I know this is no help to your question sorry but i felt i need to air my thoughts.

Good luck with that though

I can tell you that I was raised in Church. Even worked in Church. I also felt lonely and "unreachable" at times. Personally, I feel that the best thing I have learned through the years is to spend as much time, one on one, reading your Bible and praying. NO ONE understands like He does. No 2 people go through the same "stuff", but He took our "stuff" to the cross with Him and died there with our "stuff". When He came back, He left the "stuff" with the enemy. Without getting in too deep, be very careful who you lean on, unless is it the arms of your Father.
