I am starting to get sick of the many Christians out there that think Jesus will come back tomorrow. I believe Jesus will come back within 200 years, but I believe not in this generation. So all this stuff about Christians having to go through the tribulation, It will not worry me because I will not be here on this earth in 200 years, as hopefully I will be in Heaven. You Christians will not be here in 200 years either. So Christians that means we will not have to go through the tribulation period. Thank Goodness. Yes the time is getting closer with each day, but the time for Jesus to come is not yet. If it was Jesus would have returned already. A lot of prophecy has not even be fullfield yet, like the temple rebuilt. The Jews are not allowed to build where they want to build. Plus The two witness's are not even down on the earth yet. The end times have not even begun yet. Where is the antichrist? He has not even come out yet, as he may not even be born yet.

The bottom line is if God wanted to send his Son to get the church to go in the rapture now, he would have. The time is not yet, as God would have sent Jesus already if it was. Do you agree with me.?

Well,Well,Well!!!! I must say that you are very confused. Anyone who wishes to read all your questions and answers on your post will see what I mean. You claim that Jesus has spoke to you and you have dreams and visions, you have seen God but not his face. You have encountered Angels and demons. You say the end is near, and have been warning people of hell, because that is their fate because Jesus is coming in YOUR lifetime, but you are not worried, because you will be in the rapture. Now you are saying that Jesus isn't coming until this generation has passed. Do you even know what you believe in? Let me clue you in on something. We can speculate until doomsday, but nobody, NOBODY knows when Jesus will return. Jesus has given us signs to look to, but he could return at any moment.

Care to enlighten me on how you can be so wishy washy on what you believe?
Sorry, but I am just trying to understand where you are coming from.

Leanne-2 things confuse me here:

First, you have been stating (many times) up until now that you believe he is coming very soon. Now you are writing that you have revised your timetable a couple of hundred years.. Obviously Jesus has contacted you and asked that you send his regrets, make sure the white throne gets a fresh coat of paint, and keep the lake of fire at an appropriate temperature until he can return to take care of business. Why am I the last to be told of these things?

Second, you bid us farewell a week ago to devote more time to religion. Evidently you are back with as they say a "vengeance". Admit it...Next to Jesus, you love Yahoo Answers (of course not as much but certainly a solid #2) and you can't quit the habit. This is like "Internet crack". I admit, I can't stop either. Is this considered an eartlhy temptation for which we will be forgiven? What was the catalyst for your return?

The reason why Christians act as though Jesus will come back tomorrow is because today could be our last day on earth. We cannot plan on the world ending 200 years from now because we will not live 200 years. We have to plan that the world is ending tomorrow because tomorrow is not promised to us.

Because it says that the Generation that sees Israel become a Nation will not parish. They captured Jerusalum in 1968. So many believe that the generation that saw that happen will see Christ return. The dispute is on the length of a Generation. Some say its 70 years, some 120 years, so we will see. Since Israel has never controlled Jerusalum since before the prophecy was written it leads us to believe that Jesus's comming is near.

Every generation has believed that it is living in the Last Days. Truth is, no one knows AND that is Biblical.

Incidentally, there will be no Rapture; the Rapture is a mis-interpretation of the writings of St. Paul. He also believed that they were living in... The Last Days.

ADDENDUM: That information posted below my response by Jurky appears to be from the Jehovah's Witnesses. For all it is worth, I have personal knowledge that the JWs have been predicting The End since the Fifties. They have yet to get it right. I put no stock in their predictions or beliefs. Growing up in the Fifties and Sixties I remember that they scared a lot of people. In fact, their system of belief (they don't like to be called a religion) was based on their first "prophet" (I used the term very loosely) being privy to the final days and that only 144,000 were gonna be save!

Truth is, NO ONE KNOWS.

Best,

The simple answer is that Christians pay attention to everyone in the Bible--except Christ--if you read Luke Ch 17:20 Christ said"And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom
of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you"
.The judgmental,sin-seeing ,bigoted .Pharisees thought they owned God & that God would kill all their enemies & make them all rulers.Unfortunately this arrogant ,egotistical,self-centered belief has endured through the ages. Christians too have adopted this inane belief---& have predicted the "end times" for over 2,000 years--& probably will for the next 10,000 years.
For your own peace of mind--dismiss this silliness from your mind--& obey Christ by treating every human being as you would like to be treated.

Because of Israel is the biggest reason; They are the fig tree in story by Jesus in Matthew 24, but leading up to that are many things wars earthquakes storms famines. Troubles like the world has never seen, very much like what happened in World War II. You can see World War III is right upon us and look who the big players are--- America, Jews, Russia, China, North Korea and Moslem's(Arabs).
This sounds like a repeat of World War II to me, and Russia and America looking like they maybe going head to head in Middle East because of supplying weapons.
People are so far removed from the Bible they do not even understand only one person went in the Rapture in the days of Noah so why would 50 go today, because the Bible says as in days of Noah ( one person) went in the rapture. Churches like money more than true and you will not be popular teaching the truth

Jesus advised us to be observing for the indications and seasons that ought to herald His go back contained in the clouds to take all of His people out of this evil international and again as a lot as heaven with Him. Seven years later he will go back to the Earth with all His saints and angels to resign the conflict of Armageddon at the same time as there are nonetheless people surviving the Tribulation years. He did not supply us a particular date for the Rapture, yet He reported we ought to comprehend the indications of the perfect days.

Revelation is hard to interpret.
I will trust Christ when he says:
But of that day, and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels in heaven, but my father only. -Matthew 24:36. oh, and BTW the rapture is real, it is Matthew 24:40-41.

According to the Bible, didn't Jesus say to those watching him ascend into Heaven that he will return soon. That was over 2000 years ago. I'd say that time has extended beyond what would be considered "soon". He ain't comin'.
