I do 100 sit ups a day plus watch what I eat. I started noticing results within the first week. The more you do, the shorter the time it will take to get the 6 pack. And it does not take years if you do it right.

40 sit ups a day? 6 pack 60 years. A lot more then a simple sit ups is needed.
Aerobic exercise is vital, to rev metabolism. Calorie in and take, must burn more energy then u r consuming. Water lots, flushes toxins and keeps from dehydrating.
Go do some research. So many factors..Mary.

That's great. Just don't strain yourself. Maybe about two weeks of healthy meals along with your 40 sit ups.
