I have a file that I'm trying to send that is just under 10mb, but it keeps bouncing back in an email. I need to reduce the size (compress?) it? How do I do it?

Probably the best solution is to use a file splitter/joiner. Try http://www.deepcom.com/

Use a compression software if you don't have adobe acrobat editor to reduce the size. Just right click on the file select compress or compress and send e-mail.

However this only solve your problem "e-mail bounces back", if the reason why your e-mail is bouncing is because the e-mail you sent exceed the maximum allowed by the e-mail server of the receipient. If it is due to other reasons. It will still bounce back if the problem is receipient's e-mail storage is full, e-mail address not found, server suspected a virus in the e-mail etc.

in case you have the Microsoft word utility then you quite ought to objective the Adobe PDF link to transform it and notice if that helps. There could be protection settings there in the document menu.

go to file on the menu bar and scroll down to "reduce file size".

it's that easy - but I thinks this only works if you are using Acrobat and not Reader.
