That makes for so-called 'radical feminism' today just because she has an opinion? What happened to free speech and freedom of religion? Seems like some people would prefer we all go back to those times when men had so much power they didn't know what to do with it.

The term 'radical feminism' was coined in relation to religion by a poster who says women are anti-Paul based on not agreeing with his own self-declared anti-feminism stance in the Bible itself.

Jesus gave women a chance to speak in his times and not just any woman but a Samaritan woman whom Jews were not allowed to socialize with let alone talk to. Men are to be considered head over the household as Jesus over the congregation but that does not mean that men can be obusive of that headship as we know Jesus certainly isn't.

Not really sure what your point is, but no decent person whatsoever thinks that women should not have freedom of expression, or freedom of religion.

People don't refer to women expressing their opinions as "radical feminism."

"Radical feminism" refers to a philosophy espoused by a tiny minority of women who

a) hate men,

b) are too ugly to get dates (except perhaps with each other),

and

c) think it's cause for celebration every time an unborn baby is murdered in the mother's womb.

First of all, anyone who claims that "women had no say" do not understand the customs in "Biblical" times.

In the Jewish customs, women were held in the highest esteem. From children, to teenagers, to married women, to the elderly and widows, women were treated with kindness and reverence. It is against Mosaic law to mistreat your wife, and to not consider her. So I don't know where you're getting your information.

Secondly.... for Christians.... the Bible commands, "Husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the Church." That is a huge commandment. Christians are to love and respect their wives. Women are held in highest regard in the Christian faith.

It's not about power, as you say. It's about love, respect, and reverence towards the wife, and in return, the same from the wife to the husband.

It would be good advice to read the scriptures, and then make an accurate accounting of what they have to say.

Also, "Freedom of Speech and Religion" is the First Amendment of the US Constitution....( Bill of Rights ) not Biblical scripture.

Because "radical feminism" decidedly rejects everything that it means to be a woman. Read Proverbs 31 if you want to know what a real woman is.

They tell a woman who wants to be a mother that is she is worthless and a "throw back." I have no time to spend with women who tell me what I value most in life has no meaning.
Bill Gates, will all his wealth and money could not influence the life of a single person more than a mother can raising her child.

They tell women we must work and own businesses and climb the corporate ladder and walk, talk, and act just like a man does, and I find that sickening. Women should not behave like a walking male organ in a skirt.

These women tell me I must murder my child in my womb in order to retain my voting rights!

Then they tell men that to be masculine has no value, that they should primp and preen in front of a mirror and become a "metro sexual."

Let men be men and women be women!
