Thanks for all the responses! And sorry for the confusion. I used the composite cable(white and red) to connect DVD and TV for the sound. On TV there is YPbPr Audio in , since I used component cable for the video, I plugged the white and red cable in that place, but no sound. I check the DVD manual to make sure audio output is SPDIF/PCM which is for connect DVD with a TV through audio cord. I don't know if there are some other settings I should change. Thanks for all your help!

SPDIF/PCM is a digital audio spec. You may have to disable digital audio output to get analog audio out on the red/white connectors.

this is becuase 3 component cables all carry video signal. To hear audio you will have to connect your audio cables, (audio part from the composite cable works well) - (red + white cables), just connect them from audio out from the dvd to audio in to the monitor. If there are more than one available audio connection, keep switching them until you hear the sound

some television's do no longer help 480i on the YprPb inputs that's obtainable you're able to hookup the DVD using a 480i connection like S-Video or use the golf green of the element cable to feed the Yellow NTSC video for the setup. From the DVD setup replace the output mode from the S-Video jack to element in many DVD gamers made 3-4 years in the past this grew to become into straight forward S-Video OR element no longer the two additionally you ought to have between the DVD gamers with the jacks coloration coded incorrect Zenith grew to become into maximum straight forward for this one Plug the golf green cable into the television green Y (PrPb) plug then attempt it in all 3 of the DVD outputs till a photograph is shown then you could determine that's crimson and that's blue Flesh tone of faces is many times the least difficult approach for tint decision

Make sure that you don't output audio via the digital audio port.
Go to the setup menu of the DVD player and check your audio settings.

The component cable cannot support audio signal. Please check on the back of DVD device, and buy the correct audio cable. Also, you can use the SCART cable, if you have SCART interface on your plasma TV. The SCART cable, supports audio + video signal, but you cannot use 5.1 sound channels.
