Why is it o.k to burp in public and say excuse me, but fartinng in public and saying excue me is not the same?(This is one shitty question, LOL!)

Firstly because your mouth is not a rude part of your body as is your ***, and secondly because after a person burps, the whole room doesn't start smelling, lol!

As far as being ok, neither is socially acceptable behavior. It is however a bodily response that cannot always be avoided. If you need to burp in a social setting you don't have to rip one off that is offensively loud instead just let the air escape without vibrating your vocal chords (yes, it is possible).
As for farting, excuse yourself from the room. Roll down the window in the car and excuse yourself. And for gawd sakes, try not to fart in an elevator full of people...lol

Burping does not smell as bad as farting.
Also, you may smell burping if you're in the person's face but you only have to be in the room to smell a fart (even after the offender left!). The smell of anything is in fact tiny little particles of what that something is, coming into contact with the inside of your nose. What would you rather have in your nose?
Tiny little particles of food being broken down by the stomach acids or tiny little particles of s**t?

i think because sometimes farts could stink and its more offensive because of that ,, in some cultures though burping after a meal is a compliment to the cook so i think it depends on where you're at .. but i have come to realize farting no matter where you;re from makes people laugh

now and lower back, whilst out in public, ive laughed that tough ive enable loose a splash 'fart' by threat. whilst i might desire to 'burp', i will do it quietly and discreetly in the back of my hand. Ive 'spat' out revolting nutrition till now right into a tissue. I 'picked' my nostril as quickly as whilst a splash fly went up it and ive pulled my knickers out my butt now and lower back if im in tight denims....(yet no longer scratched - dont think of ive ever had an itchy bum and people who do might desire to bathe). All accepable if discreet and non planned. ;-)

FOR 2 reasons. 1st. it unforms the dinnerhostess, if done politely that the dinner was absolutely delicious! 2nd. in certain countries, in the world it is both custom & and apolite thing to do AFTER dinner. the other MATTER is just plain rude, UNLESS YOU WERE ON THE RECEIVING END< OF BAKED BEAN DINNER!!!!

may be bcoz burp doesn't smell as bad as fart and as we r talking abt it... look at the difference of their exit.you eat with one and u **** with the other

I think it because not all fatrs smell as if they are all air...in fact they may have had lumps an not been a fart at all.
