Gee my 10 year old neice has been doing this for years. Get tempory tattoes from a toy store-bring them home. get a wet paper towel ready-remove the clear protective film cover, put the tattoo on your body upside down and pat it with the paper towel Hold for a few seconds and remove the paper. voila!

Go to the dollar tree and buy a sheet of temporary tattoos. Follow the instructions on the package to apply one :-) They usually stay on for a week.

Be careful what you do to your skin (that thing with the pin and the marker sounds dangerous). My sister did henna tattoos at home and got some kind of weird disease from it where she's bleeding under the skin and always has purple spots. It's been three years and they can't cure it.

You can find them online or in small specialty stores like Claire's or a company like Temptu Tattoo (they were the first ones to make them).

Typically they wear off in about 3 to 4 days. (One day if you go swimming.) If you want to remove it before then, use mineral oil.
