Well now, what an interesting question. Sorry nothing with Dog (well actually I'm not sorry) but did find a Korean Stew recipe that calls for steak -- it did not say Beef. I've listed it below. You can find it and many, many more Korean recipes at www.FoodDownUnder.com . They have recipes from all over the world. You can search for Korean or Korean Stew (or Yukkae Jang Kuk, if you want a closer look at the one below).
My thought is to leave the sweet pups alone and use a cat! :-)
Yukkae Jang Kuk
1 kg Skirt or flank steak
2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Ground black pepper
24 x Spring onions, sliced
1 tsp Sugar
125 gm Rice Vermicelli
2 tbl Sesame oil
2 tsp Chili powder(or to taste)
2 x Eggs, lightly beaten
Method :
Put whole piece of steak into saucepan with salt, pepper and just enough water to cover. Bring to the boil, cover and simmer until steak is very tender. Allow to cool, then shred with fingers into fibers. Return to the pot, add spring onions and sugar and simmer for 10 minutes. While simmering, soak rice vermicelli in hot water for 10 minutes, then drain.
Add to simmering pot. Mix sesame oil and chili powder together and add to stew. The rich red oil will float on top. Drizzle the beaten eggs into the bubbling stew, stirring so that it cooks in shreds. Serve with hot white rice.

OHG I looked a little further and did find a Phillippine recipe for Stewed Dog -- it is on the same website. Just search for Dog Stew. Take their advice and substitute the Lamb -- or Cat :-)

You know, you have me on that one!!! Dog soup just doesn't sound appealing. The dogs they cook up over there aren't considered family pets, and I just don't think I'd have the heart to eat Fido here. However, I'll bet you could substitute a chuck roast in a pinch!

i've got had actual nutrition from all 3 places (which ability in maximum circumstances going to the worldwide places, being in human beings's residences who cooked actual dishes, and not in basic terms community eating places interior the U.S. that have "Americanized" their dishes.) My prominent is jap nutrition inspite of the certainty that chinese language has lots variety counting on the place you're in China that that is stressful to offer it an opinion as one nutrition. i like nutrition from the Sichuan (Szechuan) section. that is tremendously spiced, yet do no longer particularly look after the spiciness of Korean nutrition. I nonetheless think of that is surprisingly good, yet desire the others.

Sorry, have no desire to try anything with dog or cat in it......I love my pets too much to even think about it, plus there are animal cruelty laws in our country to protect our four-legged friends. Maybe you should move back there - seems you'd fit right in!!
