A question for air force personnel....?
i am coming up on the end of my enlistment in a few months and it looks like im going 2 reenlist for another 4 yrs. the last 4 yrs hasnt been that bad for me, so why not do another 4....my question is i know that the air force is cutting about 40,000 troops, can they deny me reenlistment? my afsc isn't overmanned and i have my approved cjr and i have never had any negitive administrative action....my pif is clean. anyways i was just wondering because it looks like ill be signing back up in july....thanks.

If you have an approved CJR, you're golden.

Thanks for your service!

Talk to your specific job field career "monitor." I'm not sure what they call it in the airforce but this is the guy or gal who monitors your AFSC for things like this. Talk to your career planner/reenlistment person at your command and they should hook you up. As a reenlistment bonus, why not ask for special training and get a better duty station? It's worth a shot.

There should be no problem since you're already in, have a clean record, and wish to re-enlist. Godspeed

I don't see why they'd deny you. There's plenty of other people out there who can't pass PT tests, or that just can't hack it and are getting LOCs and LORs and crap and I'm sure their commanders would deny their re-enlistment before they'd deny yours. Good luck!
