No, there is no way a plane the size of a 737 could be fitted with floats. The Martin Seamaster was an attempt to build a jet-powered large flying boat during the 1950s. That would about as close to a 737 landing on water as it gets.

The additional drag of any floats big enough to do the job would be enormous. A bigger problem would probably be the jet engines Hoovering up all the water. Traditional float planes tend to use high-mounted prop-based power units.

The floats necessary to accomplish this would be enormous and would add an extreme amount of drag as well as additional weight. Though it might theoretically be possible, the disadvantages would way outweigh any possible advantages.
