Is that a question?
It's not a very good one if it is.

Did you pull the oil pan off for some reason?
What kind of shavings?
Big ones?
Powdery?
Aluminum?
Brass?
Steel?
How much shavings?

You know if you would have given a little more information, us nice people here in Yahoo Answers could have given you a much better response.

But for now, I don't care to fill the page with all the possibilities as it would waste my time, and probably not answer your question anyway.

Good Day.

Not a good thing your pistons or engine block are deteriorating from thermal breakdown get a thicker oil till you get rid of the car or replace the engine

This sounds like the timing gears have worn down. whatever it is this is a serious problem. You may have to take the timing and valve covers off and probe a little. Or take it to someone who can rebuild the engine.
