If going back to this company were a good idea, you would know exactly what to say. The fact that you don't, means this is a bad idea. Move on. Forget this place. Things happen for a reason.

The only thing that would (maybe) get you back into this company's good graces would be an admission that your past actions were gruff and inappropriate, and that you would be willing to visit or write to both customers and apologize. Somehow I don't think this is something you're interested in doing.

You sound like a strong willed individual. There's a place for people like you. You would probably do very well making sales calls to strong willed customers. Strong willed people love other strong willed people. They love an arguer, but keep in mind that your argument has to be valid. I suspect that the company you worked with a year ago has a clientelle that isn't into argumentative encounters. You need to find your niche. Selling to police departments or military outfits might be your thing. If you're going to be happy and successfuln in sales, you need to find your element--people who click with you and your preferred style.

Good luck.

Move on to another company that will take a leaner view when you abuse their customers as i would think you have 2 chances of being rehired by this company, Little and None.
I am not saying the customer is always right but it is how you tell them that matters.

OH no..thats a no no....weakness is not good in a competitve workplace...I just recently gave my boss my 2 weeks notice bc I decided to move to MIami next month

But as of today i wont be leaving until May, I dont have the funds to just sit around and not work for 2 months, but I also have pride...I wont be asking him to extend my stay...

If you quit in an ugly way...most likely they wont hire you back ..and will laugh at you in a pathetic way once you walk out the door unhired

You must meet [in person] with someone who actually has authority.
You must be COMPLETELY HONEST.
Explain as well as possible what you were going through, what you did WRONG, how you regret it and wish there were a way to atone for your mistake [even if the customer you offended was wrong -- you could have handled it differently -- say that. Admit it and tell what you should have done.
Ask, then for another chance and give substantial HONEST reasons WHY
the employer could benefit from giving you a 2nd chance. [experience, maturity, etc]

Go back and try to talk to someone about it.
Tell em you've got new skills, etc etc...

Or alternatively get another job. It's up to you.
