I pay for my items and the cashier gave me my bags of item with a smile. Came home and check my stuff and missing 2 items that the cashier must of not hand me in the bagging place. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
I'm thinking of going there and talk to them about it but I also want to make sure this doesn’t happen again. I know sometimes they make mistakes but it's a hassle to drive up there and try to talk with them. I don't know if they will believe me though. Any suggestion on what I should do or say?

Sorry guy, I ask here because in other subject there isn't much people to answer. Anyways, I don't really check all the time if I have everything. It's not a everyday thing that this happen. This is the first time and I guess now on I'll double check.

Maybe there is a customer service number you could call. Usually they believe you. And they will usually give you some sort of compensation. Most people don't go back to a store and tell them they forgot items. Bring your recipt and show them what items you are missing and they should do something about it.

This has happened to me too many times. Call the store when they open & let the manager know what happened. The cashier might of put the stuff up incase you came back. But, if not more then likely they will tell you to bring in your reciept & they can check the camera to see that your item wasn't put in the bag.

I had the same problem last year cause some stores have those spin things where they put your items in the bag and they spin the thing around so that they could put more items in the bag and they forget to give you all your items. I went back to the store and they did not believe me and I had a reciepe so I told them that I wanted them to run the tape and they did after 2 1/2 hrs of talking and I got my clothes. but the cashier got fired cause she stole my items after she got off work.

Well that happened at Target, I went to customer service and I showed them my receipt. The lady had the bag of my stuff with a copy of my receipt. The cashier didn't give me the bag so she took it to customer service because they know you're going to go back to get your stuff. I'm sure that if someone else took your bag they'll believe you anyway. If you think the cashier took something from you and more people start to complain I'm sure they're going to check their surveillance videos and stuff...but go anyway they'll give you your stuff...just don't go during busy hours like during lunch time

yeah and check your bags when you get out to the car. I had a similar prob recently at a store and a 2 gift cards were involved. she said one didn't have anything on it and threw it away, I went back in and we got it out of the trash and lo and behold, she was wrong. ity wasnt a walmart though, it was at Meijers

Do you have your receipt? Most of the time, they'll believe you. It's easy for a checker to make an honest mistake.

I was missing items too. BUT they did not put receipt in the bag.--- WITH out receipt you can do nothing.

do you still have your receipt. if you do and those items are on the list that will help. i would talk to the manager and find out from him what to do
