Has anyone on here had the procedure where they put a catheter through your leg to your main artery????

to look at your heart? I am going to the doctor tomorrow, and sort of scared, because I have a lump in that area now, and wondering if anyone else has had this experience, and could tell me tonite what it possibly could be? It has been a week since I had the procedure done.

I work in a hospital where we do this procedure although I don't work directly in that area. I've heard of this sort of thing and it's most likely a hematoma. That's when blood leaks from that area and forms a large clot. Eventually the clot can calcify or harden and it will take a long time but will eventually go away. Good luck tomorrow!
