You see, this is the thing about the bible. It is open to interpretation. But if you interpret it different then what some Christians think it means then you have interpreted it wrong. And being that this book is highly interpretable, then how do we know who is right and who is wrong? God gave us free will to believe and understand. Why is your interpretation of that passage wrong, or right? And since it has come to be known that the bible was translated incorrectly, how do we know that either interpretation is correct?

Oh and not to mention that the book itself is incomplete with different peoples books purposely left out because it didn't fit the agenda of a pope very early on in the history of the religion. One of these books was The Book of Mary of Magdalene.

Verse 34 is the culmination of the whole conjugated thought from verse 19 onward. He was saying be single-minded in serving the Lord, don't make provision for sinful desires of the flesh. Don't think fleshly thoughts. Romans 13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Of course we have to make plans for getting married, what kind of work we want to do with our life, etc. These are not lustful, greedy, sinful things to think about.

edit:

He was obviously talking about sinful thoughts and was saying don't add to the sin already in your life. Why else would he say that sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Go back and read from verse 19 on if you have any doubt.

Son... why did Harry Poter know a lot of magic and you do not? the answer is simple, Harry poter is fiction. same for your question, same for Islam. for me I do not mind christianity, it is today much peaceful than Islam. so why we have to dig into a religion that does not harm anybody any more? especially that quote christians do not follow exactly even if it means what you interpreted. the idea, most christians today are developed and do not take the words exactly even if it contradicts logic and moral. while on the other hand you have people follow quran even if it leads to suffering, sickness, backwardness and wars. they do not care. you see the difference. both books are fictions, but followers are different . followers of Bible are more smart and open minded.

Jesus told us to live for today. Today is the day that we must do things. Today is the day in which we must be saved. The previous verse says it all:
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. -Matthew 6:33
To say that we should not plan for the future is false, we should seek God so that we can have a good future, thats all.

It's one thing to PLAN for the future and it's another thing to WORRY about the future. God knows we have responsibilities and God has given us a brain to use to make good judgments. A Christian kid in school could figure " I'm not going to study for my test, God will make sure I get a good grade so I'm going to watch TV." Is that what God would want him to do?

That means not to worry about tomorrow. It's not wrong to plan the future. Jesus is talking about what not to worry about in that passage.

Is "Weak not Weak" the correct answer?

Yet again you FAIL to understand Jesus' words. He was telling His disciples not to worry about the daily essential needs of food and clothing, rather than telling them not to plan or think about the future!

Muslims looking to discredit the Bible only end up discrediting themselves!
