Ye, we do. It is easier to understand the meaning of the word. it facilitates lecture. There are some words that exist as well as noun as verb, so making the difference between the by capitalizing the noun, you understand better.
Some people start to write everything minuscle for exaple in emails. By some it is considered as rude, by others as cool behavior. I'm for capitazing, becuase it makes our language richer.

Exactly. Every noun is capitalized. What's weird about that? It's just a rule, nothing more. Like the rule that the first word in a sentence is capitalized, or that names are capitalized; these rules are the same in English, but the noun rule is different. So what?

...I know, my English is very bad, but I'm German.

Yes, we do.
Every word with an article (e.g. ein, eine, der, die, das) is capitalized.
I'm not sure why, but I think it's just easier to recognize which words are nouns and which are verbs in a sentence and so we can understand a text faster.

Yes, they capitalize every noun. Why? Because!
Why do the English capitalize the I (as in I wrote this)?
Habit, convention.

Yep, every noun, and only nouns (and the first word of a sentence).
So you'll get "Ich spreche Deutsch" (I speak German) but "die deutsche Sprache" (the German language, "deutsche" is an adjective so it's not capitalized.
Don't know why but it makes it easier to teach grammar.

that's just the way it is. i think it makes learning german alot easier. also it makes the language special. i lived in america for 6 years and loved it but, no offense, the english language that is spoken nowadays is boring. it all just solen bits from the latin (this includes french, italian, spanish... all the romanic languages) and bits from german (yes german an english have the same roots.).
