Sin is sin, whether it's a "big" sin or a "little" sin. We will never be perfect. We should strive to be like Christ and obey His commands, but we will always make mistakes. Getting into Heaven is not based on our good deeds or our lack of mistakes - we cannot earn our way into Heaven. For those who have accepted Jesus as their Savior, our assurance of Heaven is based on His perfection, not ours. It is by grace, through faith in Christ's atoning sacrifice that we are justified before a holy God, not through anything we can accomplish on our own.

But, this doesn't give us license to sin as much as we can get away with. We should seek God's forgiveness and His power in helping us turn from our sins.

To get to Heaven, you must be saved. This is what the Bible says about salvation:

"That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." -Romans 10:9-10

"Then they asked him, 'What must we do to do the works God requires?' Jesus answered, 'The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.' -John 6:28-29 (Good works do not save us)

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast." -Ephesians 2:8-9

Hope this helps!

If we could be good enough to go to Heaven without help, their would have been no need for Christ to die.
We ALL do bad things from time to time. And we all have committed crimes against humanity, ourselves and God.
And Hell is where we go to pay for those crimes.

But if you are a Christian, Christ has already paid for your crimes.
When you become a Christian you begin a process of sanctification, you should start sinning less and less
but your process of sanctification will not end until you are in heaven. When you catch yourself sinning, stop, ask God to help you not do that again, do what you can to make it up to the person you sinned against, move on, someone who is truly saved is forgiven by God.

However, someone who is sinning just as much as they did before they got saved should question what they got saved from, because when God enters your life you will never be the same. If you are the same God has not entered your life. And you still owe a sin debt and you do not want to be stuck paying the tab.

None of us are perfect and we are all bound to sin at some point. In fact, sinning is a part of life. An important part because hopefully you'll learn a lesson along the way. No one on this planet can tell you if you're going to heaven or hell. No one knows how God will judge you. They THINK they know and some will even try to convince you that their way is the only path to heaven. That's not true at all. The bible states that loud & clear and anyone who says they know for sure isn't trying to help you, they're trying to be self righteous.

Considering how life is so complicated and weird situations arise all the time, I doubt God is so black & white when it comes to the sin issue. He knows what's in your heart. He knows if you're just acting out because you're hurt or because you're just being a kid and growing up. He also knows if you're asking for forgiveness for the right reasons. I doubt his judging is as harsh as some people would like you to believe. Just do your best to be kind to other people, rise above sticky situations and make the best choices you can with the information you have at the time.

Yes, everybody makes mistakes. Even I have many terrible mistakes. There is always punishment for any mistake. In all countries we have court, judgement, jail, etc. And God will one day punish the people for their sins. But Jesus who was sinless died as a sacrifice for the sins of people who call to God for forgiveness.
"Turn away from your sins and be baptized, and God will forgive your sins."
It is difficult, but you take one step and pray to God and God will do the rest.
You will feel definetely feel free when your sins are forgiven. Satan deceives and lies, God speaks the truth. So decide which one you want to follow. There can never be 2 masters.

Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)
Become part of God's family today. Acknowledge your sinfulness, and express your faith in these words:
"God, I have sinned against You. (Romans 3:23) I've followed my own way and refused to give You the right to rule in my life. (Romans 3:10-12) I recognize I am separated from You and cannot rescue myself. I do believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I accept the truth of the Scriptures? that His death on the cross paid my sin-debt in full. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) And I ask You to forgive me of my sins. (1 John 1:9) By faith, I receive You, Lord Jesus, as my personal Savior from this moment on."
If you just spoke those words to God, then, like the thief on the cross, you have received salvation? a gift of God's grace. The heavenly Father welcomes every person who comes to Him through His Son, regardless of background, age, or current situation. Through Jesus, the right to enter paradise is yours!

Everybody makes mistakes and sins. That is why Jesus died on the cross to wipe away our sins. All you have to do is except christ as your savior and live a honest life. You are going to make mistakes you just have to learn from them and make sure you dont make the same mistake twice.

sometimes people aim too much to be perfect.. to be imperfect that makes us more human and interesting. Sin is something no person can ever escape, and it is not the count of good or bad that will bring us to heaven, it is the good things you do, that makes other people lives worth living for, that they forgive and pray for you that makes you worth going to heaven =) ^_^.

HAHAHA and ask the Christians a question and see what it takes to get to Heaven and then I will have more friends in Heaven and Belinda Carlilse said Heaven is A Place on Earth and Christians write serious answers to questions that are not as they seem and the Go Go's should not have broken up and Gina Shock was a good drummer.

unfortunately you cannot rate perfection, as in 'this person is more perfect than that person' - this is not perfection because the less perfect person would not be perfect. in other words perfection is absolute by definition.

but, i know that thats not the main point of your question. but it has bearing - when jesus says in the gospels 'be perfect as your father in heaven is perfect' he means exactly that. evangelical christians will tell you that you're going to hell because you told one white lie.

so, i suggest two strategies. the first one involves venally sinning because, as you put it, noone is perfect and this is impossible. then you'll burn in hell but, hey, we're all going to hell!

the second, the one i've taken, is thinking rationally about it and concluding that christianity is not about god or heaven but fundamentally about guilt etc and concluding that its not the path for you, due to the fact that your mind is a questioning one.

To get to Heaven you need to be perfect. We all sin, so the only way anybody is going to heaven is through Jesus Christ. He died on the cross to take away our sins so we are perfect. Jesus is the way the truth & the life. No one comes to the father except through Him
