Dirt stains ?!? For the past 2 years ?!? Washing in a bath or shower will take care of that quickly, painlessly, and easily. Embarrassing!

I used to take in foster children (not anymore, it will break your heart) and I once got two children (sisters) who were the dirtiest children I had ever seen. They were 2 and 4 years old and I don't think they had ever had a bath. They had dirt rings around their necks and ears that would not come off with regular washings. I put a thick coat of Vaseline on the dirty spots and let it sit overnight. After a couple of days of this and regular scrubbing with soap and water, it finally came off. I think is has to be softened up to come off. But if yours does not come off, consider that it might be skin discolorations and not dirt.

Do you have naturally tan skin? Sometimes tanned skin looks like dirt as the skin sloughs off unevenly, if that is the case, scrubbing gently with an exfoliating scrub might help. Otherwise, you might consider seeing a dermatologist to be certain you do not have a condition such as psoriasis or something of that nature. Good Luck!

Are you overweight? Do you have diabetes? It may not be dirt stains. It could be a skin condition called Acanthosis Nigricans.

after a shower/bath when your skin is still soft and wet, rub with a towel like crazy and the dirt should pile up, then wash it all off again in the sink with soap. done-skee. works everytime for me.

Does it come off when you wash yourself or it NEVER comes off?

If its the latter, there is a conditon known as acanthosis nigricans. It can be a symptom of diabetes or something more serious like cancer. Ask your doctor for further evaluation of your skin problem. He/she should know what to do.
