He doesn't atone. Islam instructs Muslims that any sins committed in circumstances you have not control over (forgetting, by mistake, by force, etc.) are automatically forgiven.
Verse 2.286 in the Koran (Quran?): "Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error..."

Since he did it unintentionally, then he doesn't need to do anything. If he hasn't already digested it, then he has to throw up.
You have to know that pigs are very dirty animals that eat and drink thier excrement and urine...and they also eat and drink the excrement and urine of other creatures (including humans); therefore pork is very dangerous to the health.
Now just imagine what happens if you ate a meal who's expiration date has passed two months ago! Surely you'll try throwing up to get rid of the poison in your body...the same goes with the filthy meal of pork.

if a muslim does anything unintentionally, that person will not be accounted for. there is nothing to atone for here. it was done with out notice.

i have muslims friends, and most of them ate pork either unintentionally or intentionally. intentionally hear means he knew that it was a pork, but he didnt care, coz he said that it tastes good! thats all they said to us! really! hahahaha..
and after that, they didnt do anything.. like pray or admit something.. nope.. just enjoyed the eating and felt really full hahaha..

don't know am not muslim, but there are so many muslim eat pork because they not always following islamic rule

if its unintentionally.. like s/he doesnt know its pork then its ok.. but if it was not halal and she knew it.. and she still went and ate it.. then its bad.. but if it was not said either non halal or pork.. then its not her fault
