Why do our relatives need to know the marks we score in exams ?

Because for one thing, relatives are very nosey. If you score high in exams, they look at you with a level of respect. If you flunk, they normally would assume you're a failure.

If any of your relatives asked what your score is, tell them that you plead the Fifth Amendment.

That will shut them up.
