do hair chemicals eventually wear off? if so, how long will it take?

i got my hair rebonded a couple of months ago and my hair is starting to fall off, which probably means the chemicals they used were way too strong..so do they wear off in time?

something like that happened to me. i got my hair chemically straightned and when my hair got curly again my hair looked like it was fried. my advice is to find a salon that specializes in that kind of thing. thats what i did and they helped out a lot.
