Ever look around at all the overweight people over 40? Believe it or not, most of them weren't overweight when they were young. Headlines of childhood obesity didn't exist back then. Kids had to go OUTSIDE to play because there weren't any video games. Most families only had ONE car... and they weren't about to risk damaging it by letting their teenagers drive it. Kids actually had to walk, or ride a bicycle, to friends houses, the store (mall weren't big back then), to and from school and after school activities. They also couldn't sit around watching Cartoon Network all day. They got one day of cartoons (Saturday), and they ended at noon. Yep... all those overweight > 40 year olds were once thin. You've still got a few years left, but if you try to start packing on the pounds now.... Well, think about it.

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span. No food or drink in between the food and not more than three meals a day, unless u r diabetic.

Just put a little bit more guilty stuff into your diet and you will slowly gain weight. when you get to your ideal weight you need to keep it there by being healthy but balancing the guilty food with the healthy stuff.

Hostess fruit pies are great for this, but I take it your not from US
I'm on a low-carb diet and really the best way to gain weight is high protein/fat + sugar/carbs. If you take out the sugar/carbs its a great way to lose weight.
