You know family is family and there isn't much you can do about it. You don't get to pick and choose your relatives. They are your family and that means you have to love them. It doesn't mean you have to like them. My best advice would be to ignore them and live your life. If you dwell on what they do to you it will only bring you down and cause you pain. I know it hurts but just remember they choose what they do and one way or another they'll pay for their choices. Hope I was of some help.

Physically and genetically yes, these people are still family. But it is very possible to have family members that don't like you for whatever reason. Could be jealousy.Your parents could be saying some good things about you when you are not around. Sometimes parents can be in on those things where they actually will encourage their kids to harass one or more of their siblings. Dads for example like to have a son who is a 'chip off the old block'. If a man has a son who is not like HIM, some men, not all ,will have a problem with that son because that son is not like him. When I say some parents encourage kids to harass another kid(s), I don't mean literally. I mean by not putting a stop to the harassment by the other kids, they are condoning the behavior. Silence is agreement. Let me say this;I don't know how old you are and what your Spritual enlightment is. But there is a spirtual reason for it that you may or may not understand. But you may want to start there for the reason.

Yes. I've in the past done things to family members that are unforgivable. But then one day my youngest sibling who is by far more mature than I told me that he forgave me and that they loved me no matter what I did. Ever since then I have had a ton of respect for him and haven't intentionally hurt anyone in my family. Deep down I just needed to know that they cared I think. Try telling whoever has hurt you that you forgive them and that you love them no matter what. That is what family is all about, unconditional love.

Family members are more harsh with family members because they care more to show those concerns, hopefully they just have your best interest in mind and think you are going in the wrong direction. But on the other hand maybe they are just too immature themselves and hopefully will get along when older.

Family relations are very complicated matter. You can choose your friends, but you cant choose your family. You have to accept them, but u don't have to accept their behavior. I think the best way to deal with them is to let them know that u are not happy with what they have done to u, and u will not let this happened again. Then try forgiveness, may be they will re-consider their behavior against u. Good luck.

Sometimes families are very dysfunctional, and yes, they do these things.
You can't pick your relatives, but you can decide how much time you actually spend with them, and how much you allow them to be part of your life. I'd highly recommend cultivating friends who function as surrogate family, and keep your biological family at a distance.

My sister stabbed me in the back. I havent talk to her in 2 yrs.
She is my mothers daughter.
related by blood. but not my family.
Family is Love, respect for each other.
If someone is negative just because you are blood related doesnt mean you have to deal with drama.
