Probably should eat, I think you'll die in a week if you don't.

But to answer your question, an average daily intake of calories is about 3500 calories, which equal about a lb. So 30 days in a month, 30 lbs, that's without exercise of course and your body not burning anything, but of course your body will burn even if you sit and do nothing, so that's another 20 lbs, if you sit and do nothing, so about 50 lbs.

However, if you want to lose weight, do a lifestyle change. The most you can lose healthy is 2 lbs a week. Eat more meals but less food per meal. By doing this, you stimulate your metabolism, and it allows you to burn more energy throughout the day, with your body storing less fat. Go to the gym 3 times a day, each day would be a different body part, day 1, arms, day 2 chest and back, day 3 legs. Do it like Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Check out www.bodybuilding.com, it's a great site, with lots of support. Everyone is there to help, and it's very informative.

Good luck

For losing health starving is not a solution

You can easily cure this problem by doing the following yogic exercises everyday and you will see the remarkable change in you..
1. Arathamathesendrasan (reduces the folds on the side)
2. bhujangasan ( reduces the fat & creases on the back)
3. halasan ( flexes the muscles & reduces the creases)
4. dhanurasan ( flexes the muscles & reduces the creases)
5. sarvangasan ( controls the whole body to perfection)
6. mathsyasan ( increases the chest & reduces the stomach)
7. nauli kriya ( the best for stomach)
8. mayurasan ( very difficult but best for the belly )
9. bhastrika pranayanam ( breathing exercise, very best and must as this controls BP, prevent lung diseases, increases the brain power, will never get cough or cold and controls your anger and other violent emotions, brings in crimson complextion to the face etc,etc)
10. sevasan. ( This is the last exercise and this removes all the stress and strain of all the above exercises )

Do all these exercises every day in the morning before breakfast and after nature calls because both your stomach & intestines should be empty while you do this . Do it regularly for 1 month with confidence and see the magic

Some of the answers say that you would die after a month without food intake. But I would highly disagree on that.

There are persons who fast for a month or even more and they are amazingly still alive. Fasting involves spiritual interventions. They are determined not to eat for a long time because they have a reason not to.

If you do not eat just because you're curious, then i'm sure it would cause your health into risk.

You would lose about 70 pounds or more if you do not eat for a month... but i tell you, you can survive the ordeal if you have a relevant purpose not to eat.

God bless!

Positively bad thinking.

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span. No food or drink in between the food and not more than three meals a day, unless u r diabetic.

Oh wow, please don't use that diet. You should really use the medical profession for healthy weight loss, if it is available to you. That sort of weight loss is really the decomposition of your muscle mass by your body to metabloize organics for body preservation.....in other words, you are starving and your body will shut down until it gets food to store up again.

You have heard about crash diets, yes? The rebound from these is the massive weight gains afterwards, since your body senses the food deprivation and slows down the metabolism in order to preserve itself....you. When you finally break down and eat or get off of your diet your body naturally stores the calories as fat since it anticipates another upcoming starvation period.

A healthy weight loss goal takes about a year, or more depending on how much weight. You should set your goal as thirty pounds per year, healthfully. Think about your heart and other organs as you lose this amount of weight and what you put them through. This is a huge change to overcome and demanding your body to do this in a month will overtax your organs and might have a very negative impact on the state of your life afterwards. Please research this more and talk it over with other people who have successfully lost a lot of weight instead of doing this type of diet.

BTW, over a month, using 2000 calories per day, you will lose approximately fifteen to twenty pounds, but since fat weighs 3500 calories per pound (and muscle is much denser, maybe 4000 calories per pound,) you are looking at minimal results over that short period of time for the anguish that your body tells you that it is not right to do that.....

If you starve yourself your body will go into starvation mode and hold on to body fat as a way of "surviving" Just count your calories, keep a journal of what you eat, count drinks too. If your in the 200s you should probably eat around 1600 calories to start losing weight, then go down to around 1400 calories a day. You should try a website that helps you with personal goals its called Sparkpeople.com its just like weight watchers but free. It has everything weight watchers has. *Best answers are appreciated! Hope this helps. good luck.

Hey buddy, this will bring no solution to you. This will ultimately result to death or make you bed ridden. What I can suggest you to do is, take pop corn and lime juice ONLY whenever you feel hungry. Try it out for 3 days. This will reduce your weight. Now go back to the normal diet for 2 more days. Just try to avoid oily food. again repeat popcorn & lime juice for 3 days. try this method for 1 month. This will decrease all your loose fats. Now start doing light Exercise like Aerobics, Free Hand exercises, etc. Be healthy and follow a proper diet chart.

Gosh... Isn't that Anorexia? May end up in the hospital. No gage on the lbs. Would all depend. I do know people who have done the lemonade, honey, cayenne pepper thing for around 15 days? Felt better after. Lost like 10 lbs. Gained it right back. It was more of a detox thing though.

From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_being
The human diet is prominently reflected in human culture, and has led to the development of food science. In general, humans can survive for two to eight weeks without food, depending on stored body fat. Survival without water is usually limited to three or four days.

A man can only take a few days without food else your system will shutdown and you will die.

* Eat Healthy
* Eat Slowly
* Exercise
* Get out of the couch and stroll around the neighborhood
* Avoid the Malls
* Avoid Cola and sugary drinks -- Try water to flush it out your system
* Greens are also food

It takes a whole lot of DISCIPLINE!
