No, it supposed to be about reminding ourselves to be humble. There are way too many christians around who give off this vibe that they think they are perfect. They think that because of a religeon, they are better than everybody else. That's arrogant. If you were perfect, you wouldn't need God's salvation.
The point about being a Christian is that we're not perfect, In fact, the only real difference between us and the rest of humanity is that by faith in Christ, our sins are covered. We're forgiven. If you find that offensive, talk to God.

No. And you don't understand what they are saying if you think so.
Have you ever noticed that if someone says "I am a Christian", then they are expected to be perfect? All you have to do is notice the news when a "Christian"...at least someone they think is a Christian does something awful....and they say ..."see that Christian...look what he did!'....you see what I mean?
And a true Christian will defend the fact that he is also a Christian by saying "Christians aren't perfect people....they are just forgiven"...meaning...they know they aren't any better than anyone else....but they also know they have accepted God's provision for their own sin....and God has forgiven them". It is not meant to be arrogant...or rude....because they know God will forgive anyone who is willing to listen to Him.
They also know God has said "all have sinned and come short"...but "the gift of God is eternal life" and it's because He sent His Son to die in your place and in mine....whoever will believe....John 3:16.
Christians, above all others know they are not perfect and have already admitted it.

it incredibly is not authentic. A Christian nonetheless is a sinner. we could continually repent on a daily basis, through fact those people who're truthful admit that we sin on a daily basis. So not all Christians are forgiven. we could continually eschew delight, and stay humble. i will form of comprehend if that word offends you- i think it would offend me, too. have faith me, i'm no person particular merely through fact i'm a Christian and you at the instant are not. You and that i are the two significant in this international. it incredibly is the reality.

Hey ! What's your problem ? You either believe or don't ...it's a personal choice unlike Islam or to a certain extent ,Judaism. If you choose to accept Christ then yes , it is true....you are forgiven in your inperfection . Becoming a Christian doesn't make you perfect just gives you the blueprint to strive to becoming more Christlike.

You ever hear a non-christian use that statement describing a Christian ?
If I hear a young zealot use that statement I think "Greenhorn" When I hear a Preacher use that statement I think"Gee ! He's a little self centered"
I don't discuss Beliefs with people to narrow minded to believe there is more than one way to have faith in God

Well, many Christians use is as an excuse so they don't have to be accountable for their deeds in this life. Some use it to remind themselves that they should be humble and some can barely spell it. I think that for those that use it to excuse themselves from their bad behavior it is rude and arrogant, but for those that are trying to humble themselves, it is an accurate statement of fact.

How so? Is it rude or arrogant to say that a Christian is not perfect? Or is rude and arrogant to say that Christians believe that their sins have been forgiven?
My sister said that her husband forgave her for not getting milk at the grocery store last week. What arrogance! How incredibly rude! I don't know how she lives with herself.

I don't really think it sounds rude or arrogant- perhaps you are looking for a reason to be offended and angry? Just a thought...

Yep. It says they don't feel they need to be held personally accountable for anything, because anything they do will automatically be forgiven.
