Is the new M.S. windows Vista relly any good? I want feedback from vista people out there.
And one more things.
What is next to windows vista out there? Right now I'm running Windows XP Professional SP3 O.S. fully and want to know is there any thing higher? I want to see what all high dates are out there, I know the site will sale. But I want more info for you and feedback I'm trying to make my gaming desktop the best I can get it and run like a deer.

Our office usually waits 6-12 months before attempting to buy any newly released software from Microsoft. I don't know why anyone would want to get it right when it hits the shelves and consequently do the QA.

Don't go to Vista for at least 6 months! it will take that long for microsuck to get the major bugs out of the OS.

my friend works in a comp. lab and he's been running vista for over a month and has not run into any problems.... but it is usually good to let it go for a lil while so they can get all the bugs out of the system... its good

Hmmm...i was unaware of SP3....but anyway...
Vista Sucks for now...hold off until Vista Sp1 is released....not enough compatibility yet....

Resource hungry is an understatement for vista ... with all the graphics, you may not have enough memory for your applications unless you are running it on a top end machine....
