Today marriages work on the dual partnership between husband and wife. If the wife is good at somethings the husband can be good in others. There is no game being played here that you will choose a leader and the other will follow.

It should be a partnership. One of you will inevitably be stronger in different areas, like one of you might be better at handling finances and the other might be better at cooking or have more patience with kids, but ultimately any major decisions should be made together after discussing it, not one of you making an executive call and saying, "This is how it's going to be because I said so." That is not communication. As you get to know each other's strengths and weaknesses better you'll fall into the roles that work best for you, but I don't really think one person should be the "boss" of the other.

There should not be a leader. Marriage is a partnership. When one partner has to take the lead, the relationship develops problems.

Each leads differently for different situations that come up during marriage, which IS a partnership and both people must never forget to respect their mate.

To make a marriage work it takes a lot of effort from both. A marriage license does not mean you "own" that person. He/She is your partner.You should decide together on important issues!

The husband no matter how hard it is! It says in the Bible that God made Eve to be Adams help mate not his boss! After 10 years of marriage I had to come to that conclusion. It was hard for me because my mother raised us to depend on no one!! But it is definitely the husband!!
