Yes. 720p, 1080i, and 1080p are all HD

Yeah. 1080i means 1080 interlaced -- anything 720 or above is considered HD

yes it is. However, to enjoy "real" HD, your unit must be able to handle 1080p (progressive) rather than just interlaced (i). Caution though, your video source must also be HD to fully enjoy the HDTV.

yes, and very high quality HD too. the only thing better is 1080p.
