So I've got this guy that I've been friends with and we've hung out a few times. I went to visit him in his room tonight. While we were together, he sat so close to me that our thighs touched. His arm rested behind me, brushing against my back. Once, he tried to make me squeal by grabbing me and pulling me onto his lap. Several times he would poke or grab me to get a reaction out of me. His suitemate dropped by and said, "You should get her a Valentine." Do you think he was talking about me? Probably a silly question, but somebody has to be blatantly obvious for me to know if he's interested. When I left, he gave me a hug. So is there hope of me getting anything on V-day?

Yes, he likes you.
But too early to say if he is just interested in pleasure, or if he likes you in a more respectful way, so be careful. The fact that he only hugged you is good, but you never know.
Any form of touching beyond a hand shake normally is meant as a signal.
He is probably shy and his suitemates comment was probably an effort to kick the guy into gear.
