There are keyboard covers for this purpose. If your cat is in the playing mood, he/she may just take the thing off. So, when you're done at your computer for a while, place the keyboard in a pillowcase and fold under the keyboard---kitty-proof!

Don't worry about it, just blow out the keyboard every month or so with compressed air or (less desirable) vacuum the keyboard. Many of the plastic covers will probably make typing feel too odd. Also the hair probably won't damage the keyboard.

I wouldn't worry about cat fur getting inside your keyboard. Get one of those canned/pressurized air thingies and blast your keyboard out weekly. Also do this to your mouse - if your keyboard gets fur, the bottom of your mouse will, too, and that's probably more problematic.Their fur doesn't do any damage to the keyboard, really, and even if it did - keyboards are cheap!

Get rid of your keyboard.-just kidding, there are covers for your computer if that is what you are talking about. Go to office max, if it's a musical keyboard just drape a sheet over it.

Use a keyboard cover. I bought one for my laptop, they sell them by model, or whatever on ebay, and other websites.
-They are clear plastic, and you can key over them.
