Not a school, but www.photo.net is a great learning environment, both through looking at the wealth of great photography displayed there, and by reading the forums.

Betterphoto.com is good.
www.nyip.com is the NY Institute of Photography's web site. They also have a by mail course that's pretty good.
Planetneillphotography has great flash tutorials.
The Kodak website has lots of information.
Allthingsphotography is another good one.
