With 4 Great Danes in the house, they are walked first thing in the morning. They explode out the door, heading across the field, down through the woods trail, and down to the shores of the lake. If they are lucky, there may be an evil-eyed Canada goose to bark at. Then the thundering herd comes tearing back up the path, sniffing and snooping through the woods, and back home again, to plop down on their couches for the morning. There is a repeat performance in the afternoon. And the couches again have to be held down from flying away, which is what Danes were really designed for.

Any time the wee ones can get me out. They can get out at three in the morning or three in the afternoon. Could be before supper or after the midnight news.My life is a dogs life and it's whenever I can get the chance to go out for a walk then they go with me. It can be at the quarry, or the woods, or the dam trail, or down the street where that stupid cat lives that we like to tease. (We stroll by her big bay window slow and nonchalantly, looking at the tree leaves,or inspecting the curb, or maybe even stopping for a quick look at our shoelaces or nails, but ever so coolly we glide by that ugly stoop id cat faced feline with the air of Nya,Nya Na Na Nya!! ) then we move on to see our good friend Murphy, a huge short haired brown dog that just loves us.
Sometimes we will run in the park where no dogs are allowed. Of course we do this undercover of the dark at two in the moring when the dirty rotten stinking foul breathed good for nothing dog catching animal control freak is in bed.
Then there are the times in summer when we go to the BEACH!! anytime day or night is good. One of the dogs acutally tries to catch the waves as they roll up the beach. You should see the poor thing chasing the water up the sand wondering " how come I can't ever catch these things?" She has a frustrated whine after about two hours so we go home. Great excorcise though. The other dog just chases tennis balls into the water. Once in a while we just go for a stroll to the corner store and back.
And that's about some of it darlin.

I walk my dog at any point in the day I can be bothered. Usually though it's 11:00 in the morning or 3:00 in afternoon. The walk generally lasts between hour and half to three hours. Again depending on my mood.
I had major operation but will soon be back to work (worst luck) so I will be walking him them around 6:30 in morning or late at night.

I even have Bernese Mountain canines, a protracted time a million, and four. I particularly have a sheltie x crypt keeper (haha she is 17, so we lovingly humorous tale approximately her age) They get walked in my opinion 30minutes- a million hour an afternoon, according to dogs (aside from my sheltie) They get walked as a %., a minimum of a million hour according to day. We do sluggish strolling, on usually even floor. with the aid of their breed, they are *no longer* a intense potential breed, and that i might even say they are low-medium potential, yet relish time with the relatives and one yet another. sluggish strolling is intense-high quality and undemanding on their joints, and we generally do trails, as adversarial to pavement. Then, while climate helps, (as interior the 4 ft of snow we at the instant have, melts) we do drafting. If we do mild artwork, that is approximately 30 minutes according to dogs, if we flow longer, i will shrink a number of their walk time, so as that they are no longer getting exhausted. shop in mind that psychological stimulation will tire a dogs out 10 circumstances swifter than actual stimulation :)

Our chihuahua Stanly is litter trained, so he doesn't have to go out for those potty walks. My brother takes Stanly out for exercise about 11 a.m. He usually has a good romp in the yard (ten to fifteen minutes) to work off some of his energy, then goes for his walk for socialization. Stan loves to meet people, and this is usually a good time for that.

I walk my dogs the same time as you do. I think it's less stressful for the dog when there's not too many people around.

I seldom walk my dog(s). I have a huge backyard with a privacy fence and they can run as much as they want and come in when they want.
