You could try a tutor. Once you get a little better, you could even tutor others! Teaching is one of the best ways of learning a subject, because you are responsible for someone else's success!

You can get a tutor, but you can also go to pentonoverseas.com & see if they have the right english course for you. I found that product very useful in learning Italian because it used more informal italian that would be used everyday. But I do think that a tutor is the best way to go.

well, i feel you should read a lot. Be it anything like newspapers(lemme tell u they are the best source to learn new and good words), novels. I have one more suggestion. If you REALLY want to learn english well READ a good DICTIONARY.(yeah, i am not joking). It helps a lot. Also make a RESOLUTION to learn one new word EVERYDAY.
Hope my suggestion helps you. I guarentee that it will help you for sure if you follow it regularly.
BEST OF LUCK!

read something you enjoy (english of course). Don't bother reading newspaper articles if you're not interested in it, or else it'd seem like a chore. Read something you really like.
