i cheated on the married person. and once when i was 17 in high school. I didnt knowthe married person was married till a month later

I'd wait until they ask and then depending on how serious you guys plan on getting, that would be information you would share.
Did you actually cheat or did the married man cheat? If you didn't cheat then when he asks did you cheat, your answer is still no...however, if you do tell him you messed with a married man, be prepared because me may lose respect for you...but he also may realize that people make mistakes and learn from them.
