Ignore them. If you must have contact, be polite but brief. If they want to be obnoxious, be assertive just long enough to politely get out of the situation. Then be happy that your ex bf couldn't find anything better. :-)

Well if you know he's an *** then killing this girl over him would not be worth it. Block her e-mail and phone number so you stop having to hear what he has to say. Then any time where you may have to run into him (events you both have to attend) sit down and remind yourself why he's an ***. If you sit down and remember how he farted all the time, how he couldn't kiss worth a darn, and how he bragged about how many women he's slept with (or whatever else made him an *** in your eyes) then when you do run into him all you can do is smile on the outside while laughing on the inside. Look at her and realize (maybe even feel sorry for her) that she ended up w/ the gassy, bad kisser and that he ended up w/ a psycho that actually went out of her way to say nasty things to someone who did nothing wrong to her. You'll walk away with your dignity, a little giggle, and a feeling of self confidence that you are out of that situation for good and can/will do so much better next time.
Hope that helped. Good luck.

I hope your town isn't so small that you will run into him/them at every turn. What you need to concentrate on is why you broke up--most likely, it is in your best interest not to pursue this relationship, right? In that case, count your blessings (actually write a list about why it's a good thing you're moving on). Then, when you see him with his new girlfriend, you'll feel like thanking her for the favor! Think about the great possibilities of what you will do now that you're traveling a little lighter. Good luck!
Oh, and anyone who writes nasty emails isn't worth spending two seconds worrying about! Report it as spam and your internet provider will send her messages to cyberspace purgatory!

She has no reason to be talking about you since she doesnt know him. That happened to my best friend and if you fight back, of course its going to get worse. dont get violent and dont talk to her at all, if you see her ignore her. She shouldnt be part of your life. if you just leave her alone, she'll get bore dof it and the emails will slow down and soon she'll stop. you should get a new email address as well so it keeps your self esteem on level so you dont get mad. if you need more advice or info on this topic click my pic and send me mail and ask what you wanna ask.

First, you need to block her from e-mailing you. If she changes screen names, etc., then simply do not reply, but save the e-mails in a file. Just in case you need to print them out.
Apparently she see you as being a threat to her relationship with your ex-bf. Possibly he has said some nice things about you to her, etc.
In the event all of you bump into one another, simply say hi and keep walking. Keep you head high and your smile genuine.

wow sounds like your in a tuff spot here
well i dont know if this helps but i hope it does
just be mature about it and if shes being a total B****, then tell her off... (with words)
e-mail her back and tell her to stop e-mailing you because she has no reason to say nasty stuff to you like that but if you see her in person dont say anything unless she says something and im guessing you want nothing to do with her so just tell her that she sounds like shes not a nice girl at all, you dont deserve this i know this might be hard to get over
good luck :)

I know it hurts. The Eagles wrote a song called "New Kid in Town," and in pertinent part they say:
"And he's holding her, and you're still around . . . there's a new kid in town (I don't wanna hear it).
Sad song, touching on the reality that so many people in your situation have to deal with. You will get over the asshole. You will be all the stronger for it.

Well, be thankful that she inherited your baggage. She is being nasty to you which is beyond immature and totally unnecessary. She is probably jealous of you. If you see them together, act cordial. Don't give her the satisfaction of responding with any of the venom she has passed in your direction.
