There's no scientific evidence that computer emit radiation in harmful quantities. The largest source of radiation that most of us encounter is the sun. All electronic devices emit similar types of radiation, so a computer is no different than a clock radio or a refrigerator, except for the monitor. For old style CRT monitors, the radiation is a little more direct and may effect eyesight longterm, but once it is turned off there is no more radiation being emitted.

You'll get more radiation exposure from the flourescent lighting in your home. You also get more exposure walking to your car when you are leaving the house to go to work.

Bottomline...If there's any radiation in your bedroom after you shut of the computer then it's coming from another source. The minute you shut off the computer it ceases to emit any energy.

The radiation of the computer is so less to harm you.The resolution of the computer is more comfortable for eyesight than television. So you don't have to worry about it. But using computer for hours causes me headache. But this is not long lasting.

Why do you ask this? The health risks are so minute you dont have to worry at all. You could die getting up to turn it off by falling over your cat!! Life is too short to worry aboot things like this.
