You are 100% correct! In fact when people say only U.S.Native Americans are the only Native Americans they are incorrect. There are more South American & Central American Natives. That is why it is incorrect to assume unless someone belongs to a North American tribe, they are not Native Americans.

The name of the country is called the United States of America!! Each state has it's own name. However we see ourselves as a country that country is called the United states of America. Hence the name Americans.
Peru is in the south America Continent. Therefore you can call yourselves a Southern American and you would be correct. Canada is in the north American Continent therefore they can call themselves Northern Americans and be correct. There are two of them. Having lived in Peru, I am not sure that the women like American (North American) men more than those of other countries. It may be the novelty. Like women everywhere, Peruvian women come in all types. Some may seem more womanly and their appearance and manners may make them exotic because they are a new experience to you. Consider every woman, including Peruvians on her own merits and get to know her. I am sure many of them, being somewhat reserved, may appear more lady like than their counterparts in the United States. Again, take time to get to know then. Peruvians, like most Latin American women can be the world's most practiced flirts. I say this not as a "put down, " but as a compliment to their understanding of human relationships and how human males react. And, like women everywhere, they are almost always twice as smart as we men. That seems to work to everyone's advantage.
