Does anyone have any interesting cure for a hangover? (other than not drinking)

My ritual is burnt toast, a multi-vitamin and lots of water before bed.

Here's why:

The carbon from the burnt outside acts as a filter to help sweep away toxins. (They use the same idea for victims of alcohol poisoning in the emergency room, except those people get a much more potent carbon mixture pumped into their stomachs.)
The bread helps to absorb some of the alcohol.
The multi-vitamin helps replenish vitamins A, B6, C, potassium, and others which are lost during alcohol metabolism.
The large quantity of water, necessary to down the vitamin and get the burnt taste out of your mouth anyway, helps with the dehydration.

You actually fight the three major causes of a hangover with this: acetaldehyde (the toxic by-product of alcohol metabolism), dehydration and nutrient depletion.

Cheers!

Crap, why CURE it when you can PREVENT it? Get up four hours after you ended your drinking session. Take a couple of aspirin and drink a quart (1000 cc) of water then go back to bed. When you wake up 4-6 hours later you will NOT have a hangover.
Also, drinking white wine is better than red. NEVER drink gin..
Or if you want the ultimate prevention for a hangover....DO NOT DRINK......what a radical idea...

Don't drink to the point of oblivion, first of all. But if you must, then drink lots of water, take a couple of aspirin before you pass out, and sleep 8 - 10 hours. Alcohol dehydrates the brain, so drink lots of fluids the next day and eat some great protein-carb combo. I make a special dish for just those moments that include au gratin potatoes, bacon, and lots of cheese. Serve with cinnamon rolls and scrambled eggs. Not into eggs after a night out? Eat the rolls and potatoes and go back to bed!

A "Hangover" is the result of dehydration caused by the alcohol that you've ingested. If you drink several glasses of water before you hit the sack you'll wake up without the symptoms.

For some odd reason water makes u feel more drunk then u started with. I would suggest a big fat meal, that was cooked with no intention of keeping u thin lol. Grease eats up all that sugar content from the alcohol and helps it pass through out your system. Or start taking Chasers before u drink.

You could try berocca or hairy lemon. They are both types of effervescent tablets which you dissolve in water, they work really well for my partner. Another cure is to have some vitamin b tablets first thing in the morning and a big glass of oj.

Taking Chasers seems to help, but follow the instructions- you can't expect them to work if you take 2 and drink all night. Drink lots of water right before you go to bed, and eating food throughout the night seems to help. You don't absorb as much alcohol if your stomach is full.

I take a few Ibuprofen and drink a couple of glasses of water before i go to bed.

Next day, I have a hot dog with sauce and onions, & french fries dipped in beef gravy! Works for me!

Lots of water, alcohol is a diuretic, as well as some caffeine to get rid of the headache (caffeine is also a diuretic so not to much, and only if you have head pressure)
