Why do White people are racists?

They always look down on asians, black americans and other skin-toned race? Is it because they beleive that christ is White?

I know im poor in english grammar so what? atleast i can speak your language a bit? can u speak mine? and sorry if i my self is racists about my question , my apology (thnks for criticism of my english , its really bad)

Many whites take the time to embrace multiculturalism and ethnic diversity. Many people befriend, date, or marry outside of their race.

To label white as racists as "always looking down on ..." is applying the exact same stereotypes that you are complaining about. You are generalizing an entire race based on your own narrow perception. You don't have to look very far in any cultural group to find a racist.

I'd suggest you stand tall, be proud of who you are and look for the things you have to share with others and worry less about a few bad apples in an otherwise good bunch of people.

I totally agree that some white racists are pretty nasty. However, that's because we live in the United States where whites tend to be known for being racist. In Europe, and the Middle East it's totally different. I would have to say that in Europe, Muslims (not all, but a good portion) are very racist, especially against Jews. I've spent much time in both France and Denmark, and many Jews in those countries actually require police protection sometimes because they are often targets by Muslims. This is especially true in Copenhagen, where the Muslim population outnumbers the Jewish population. So yeah, while whites are very racist, just keep in mind that Muslim are also very racist sometimes (and NO, I'm NOT saying that Muslims are a race, cuz they are a religion, but they usually are not white).

yes, white people are racists. And yes, it is because Christ is White. You see Jesus, the son of God was an albino white person without a single trace of darkness to his skin at all, it actually says this in the bible if you read it closely enough. This made all white people Superior to other races for eternity, so basically, all this means is the darker your skin, the worse of a person you are.
Everything I've said so far is believed by many and not true at all starting with the fact that Jesus had very dark skin, however, you too, are racist by asking this question. Asking why white people are racists is a racist statement categorizing white people into a stereotype. Therefore asking questions like this does not solve problems, it only makes them worse. A good question would be "What can we do about racism?" or "What makes people racist?"

I really hate these questions, but everybody is a little prejudice no matter what. White is a very broad term and not even close to all of them are christian. Blacks, asians, arabs, hindus, jews, christians, canadians, hispanics. They are no more racist then the rest, whites maybe a little more.

Edit- Ed M I do not know if you live in NM, but I do and you are right to a certain extent. There are about 2 million people here and half are from ABQ and about 40% are white and 50% are hispanic, give or take. The real minority is Asians who make up about 3 or 4 percent of the population.

* I am not racist. I used to get fussed at by my WW2 parents because i thought asians were the most bueatiful people on the face of the planet, My parenst tried to get me to be racists telling me horror stories of what the japenese did during the war, but that did not change my beleifs. Even today at age 54 I still think Asians re bueatiful people and have a colorful culture.

I am facinated with the Middle East and people from that area. I especially like Egypt and Egyptians. I am also facinated with Africa and their culture and people. I also like Mexico and it's people. I have many black friends. I know many whites like me.

Yes there are racist whites but racism infects some people of all races. We cannot dislike a whole race of people for the few rasist ones.*

I look down on people who write sentences like "Why do white people are racists?". I think your question is inherently racist by lumping all white people together. This would be the same as me asking why are all black people racist because they think white men can't jump?

Everyone harbors some level of racism. And classism. And many other isms. The vast majority of us recognize these feelings as inappropriate...and would never act on them. Those that do are certainly not in the mainstream of American culture.

Whites are not the only racists... Asians, Black, Latinos etc have people that are equally filled with hate towards other races.

Well, does it really matter what color skin Jesus had on Earth? What I focus on is what He did for me. If it helps you in your faith to believe He was black. Go ahead. I don't care if He was black, white, asian, green, purple...

Doesn't matter, as long as He was telling the truth about who He was and what He did.

I dont think white people are as racists as any color of people, remember its the blacks who are the most racist. because they think the white man holds them back, but i have news for you we all have the same oppurtunitys in life, if you want something bad enough you work for it whether it be jobs or eduacation. people shouldnt dwell on something that happened over a 140 years ago, to me thats playing the race card blaming people now for past history, you just cant be responsible for what happened then. i believe a woman was turned into a pillar of salt for looking back, dont look back look forward and see what we can do to make things better for all, dont reconize color and all racism will stop.

If we put every single man, woman and child into a gigantic blender and hit puree. We will ALL be redish, pinkish, slimy goo. So, it doesn't matter if we were all type of race. We are all slimy goo inside. Plus, it's goes back to physical appearence and how we look. Isn't it about time we all just shut up about how we look. Not all Caucasians are racists, but Your question would make it seem so. Everyone looks at everyone else in a different light. That does not necessarily mean that we are all racists, it just means that there is no universal understanding of the feelings and spirituality of others. Of course now that Your question has created an aura of racism who knows what might happen?
