go to avp.com, and look at the player stats to determine who has been on the top for the past couple of years. at least on the US beach tour. you can also check out wikipedia for more info on volleyball players, but their list is incomplete. another source is the fivb.com. but to name just a few you have the number one ranked in the world women's team of Misty May-Trayner, and Kerri Walsh, also Elaine Youngs, Holly McPeak and Rachel Walcholder. on the men's side you have Mike Lambert, Sean Rosenthal, and the great Karch Karily.

Well depending on where you are from there aren't any really famous court players, at least not in North America (other than Kiraly playing on the Olympic indoor team). There is however AVP and there's a couple big names that come out of the AVP. Karch Kiraly, Mike Lambert, Phil Dalhausser, Sean Rosenthal, Dain Blanton, Misty May and Kerri Walsh just to name a few.

When you watch them play its like watching an intense football game,where one team is just killin the other,no remorse!!!!!!!

don't think that there's really anyone well known, but Kirsten Richards (stanford team) is probably the top player on the team
