exempt, its part of the new tax law for grade schoolers. every 4th student will be required to file on their own behalf, so he must of been one of the other 3 out of 4. he got lucky this time.

Maybe you are not yet familiar with the grading system in the USA. Grades go from A (the very best) descending to B,C,D, and finally E. E means the student failed the class. I do not know what grade your stepson is in, but when I was in first and second grades (1967-1969) we had grades of E= Excellent,S=Satisfactory, and U= Unsatisfactory. Maybe for lower grades they still use that system. If he got A;B,C,orD in other classes then E surely means he failed. If you still have doubts you should call the school.

Depends on what grade your step son is in. If the rest of the grades are S, U ect...and E would be excellent....

If they are A, B, C...I guess I don't know, I saw an answer that said F's are elimintaed in some schools now...maybe that's the equivelent of and F.

I thought report cards listed the grading scale on them....otherwise, call the school and ask.

There are two different grading systems in the US. One which uses the A B C D F

Aw, man! You don't know what that means? What comes after an E. Your step son is getting a grade just above an F. That's bad.

in most US school systems, they have eliminated "F" for failure.

The grading scale is A, B, C, D and E.

As through Ds are usually passing. (a D is JUST BARELY passing) and an E is below the passing line.
