wallah wat a khaish , lemme take it...
Put the batter in microwave ( the microwave need to hv convection or grill ) set convection or grill temp medium or 210 degree or 300 Fahrenheits in combination with microwave option for 15-20 minute depending upon batter qty.
Keep checking by poking a stick when cooked batter will not stick on the stick........
If don't hv a microwave then try...
Take a thick bottom pressure cooker / any vessel which can be covered. Keep 1 inch sand in the bottom of vessel heat the vessel n sand on medium flame with cover. Place cake batter in a buttered cake bowl in the contraception for 15-20 minutes .
Cover loosely to check it frequently.
Insha Allah u may b able to eat your cake and share it too....

If you have a cast iron (a very heavy black pan) it is possible with a bit of practice to cook a decent cake. I used to make a very good cornbread recipe this way.
first of all, I would do a thinner cake (less bater) so that it cooks through more quickly without burning the bottom. for instance a 10 inch pan would take half a standard cake mix. cokk the other half aftetrwards. grease the pan well and cook over a low heat cover it with foil or a snug fiiting top. Resist the urge to keep looking at it.....the steam that is trapped helps to cook it. Let it cook for at least 20 minutes before checking. cool and then put a large plate over the top and flip it over. You may need to loosen it a bit with a knife or thin spatula first.
You could then cover with frosting. I've steamed English puddings too. It really is a cake, but the English call it a pudding. I would go online and see the how to's for steaming a "pudding".

If you have a cook-top or heat plates, it is possible to buy a stove-top oven. It basically is a metal dome oven that use the heat from the hot plates. You can buy them at most outdoors stores like MEC (Mountain Equipment Coop) in Canada. This is not only useful for cake but for any food requiring an oven. I live in a dormitory, so, that's what I use all the time.

You can make cake in a crock-pot, if you have the rack. You can also make a quick and easy "cake" using graham crackers (regular or chocolate), whipping cream and chocolate syrup. Beat cream until stiff peaks form. Stir in enough chocolate syrup to taste, but not to make whipped cream runny. Take a whole graham cracker, spread on about an inch of whipped cream then top with another cracker. Continue the same way until about the 5th cracker, at which point you can stand them on the long side of the crackers on a plate. From there, continue to put the cream on the cracker, then stick to the previous cracker. After doing this with about 10 to 12 crackers, you 'll have what looks like a square cake. Use the remaining whipped cream to cover the top and sides. Cover and refrigerate for several hours. When you slice it, slice diagonally from the corners.

Yes, you can as long as the cake tin does not come in direct contact with flame. You may use bigger pot than the cake tin, place a metal ring inside it. Place a metal plate over it and keep your cake tin on top. Cover the big pot with a lid. There should be enough room around cake tin for hot air to circulate. You will have to experiment with timing and amount of heat till you get it right. Avoid high temperatures and cook on slow to medium heat.

If you have a microwave you can cook cakes in that, but they're not the same because they don't brown like in the oven. You can also get cake mixes for kids that set in the fridge.

single serving cake in a mug- need- microwavable coffee mug (most are made for heat and should be good!) ingredients. a pinch of salt a "dash" of vanilla 3 tablespoons chocolate chips 3 tablespoons oil 3 tablespoons milk 3 tablespoons sugar 1 egg 1/4 cup flower 2 tablespoons cocoa powder mix until combined microwave on high about 2 minutes. :D enjoy! many other treats can be made in a mug in the mic, my favorite is chocolate chip cookie. just google single serving desert from microwave in coffee mug.

There is, but I'd like to know what cooking devices you have...I would assume that if you dont have an oven then you probably dont have a microwave either. What are we talking here...fire....stove...u tell me, then I'll tell you.
