okay so what im getting here is that all those high school girls can ask pointless questions like 'a boy looked at me, what does that mean?' and 'he is in 8th grade should i talk to him?' while i have a REAL injury here and no one will come to my aide. but these silly girls get lots and lots of answers....

My kids get scratched by our cats regularly (especially the kitten, he's just playing & doesn't realise it hurts!). Never had any problems with infections BUT if your cat bites you, it's a different story - my husband ended up in hospital for five days having an abcess removed after the cat bit him (he was trying to introduce the cat to the new dog, and the cat really didn't appreciate that!). Apparently there are heaps of germs in cats mouths, and they can cause really bad infections, so get medical treatment for bites asap. Heard a few horror stories from the nurses!
Hope the scratch is feeling better now, if it's still hurting tomorrow, & red around it, then get it checked by the dr.

have you try to go to youre doctor to check it out first cause if you didnt you might get a skin infection and you should have youre cat check out too with the vet so yoou wont end up having some thing like dieases .but if its not deep scratched or cut then u just can use the cream and put a bandage on it so can heal after . if still feel hurting then i think you can ask that boy to kiss for you on valentine day to cheer you up .

I had a bad cat scratch once and was at the pediatricians office with my daughter. The doctor noticed it and told me to put desitin on it. He said it would help it to heal faster and would not scar as well. However, you need to wash it with soap and water first. Hope I helped. Kiss, Kiss the boo boo...

Humans have ridiculously thin skin and cat claws are very very sharp, when I'm in the mood to tease Jet, I put sheepskin gloves on but he just walks away. It's no fun when he can't hurt me.

It’s dangerous if a cat scratch you or bite. Better go to doctor and put prevention injection. Otherwise it can create problem. Do it as soon as possible.

Put some cold water on it to stop the swelling, and eventually it should stop hurting. Maybe use some Neosporin?
