Yes, you can get addicted to exercise. Sometimes it's because people get high on the endorphins that exercise releases in the body, and crave more of them; sometimes it's because they have a body image problem and exercising makes them stop worrying about being fat.
I know a lot of the answerers to this question have said it's not a bad thing to be addicted to, and sometimes it isn't - I go to the gym 3/4 times a week, which is a healthy amount, I think, and I'd really miss it if I stopped. But I'm a bit worried by your saying that you get anxious about doing it again. If you're working out for more than say an hour a day, and you spend a lot of time thinking about when and where to get your next exercise fix, that's getting towards the unhealthy stage. Remember, your body needs rest as well as exercise, and overdoing it can cause damage. Make sure you're eating properly (enough calories to be able to support the exercise) and try to keep the exercise as an enjoyable pastime, not an obsession that takes over your life.

That is an okay thing! You can be mentally addicted to anything. Just eat proper calories to suit you exercise levels!

It is ok so long as it does not become a fad. Relaxation caused by exercises due to the divertion from normal duties is good.

I was...for about a year...then some things happened that screwed up my routine about 5 months ago and I haven't been able to get back into wanting to do it again, which is really weird to me because I really enjoyed doing it. Keep it up as long as you can!!
