In common...nothing.
Blackwater is a corporation that provides specialized security and protection services for hire and is not a military service.
I am unaware of what a private soldier is but if you mean the people employed by Blackwater, they do not receive an army or any military pension unless they had earned one by having served the required period of time (normally 20 years) prior to working for Blackwater.

"A well regulated MILITIA, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

They are security contractors, yes it's a private army for all intents and purposes but they answer not only to the federal government but also the company, and if it's a public company the share holders.

No sane human being can compare a terrorist militia that answers to no one and targets civilians as a matter of practice with Blackwater.

It is legal, a good question would be "is it legal for Blackwater to operate within the US? Not just train but to do their 'work'?"

Why what do you know? i have family in Blackwater. My cousins are former Navy Seals and they will snap your neck if you talk **** about them and the money they are making. Its a private security company and you would never make it, just by looking at your photo i can tell your not cut out for the Seals or Marines or any Special Forces. They have to make a living after the military and thats what they know, to kill or be killed by these crazy middle east religious fanatic radicals.
