Read their profile. Ask them. Of course, they may lie. You can talk about things that someone their approximate age would know about...things you remember happening when you were a kid, if they're saying they're about the same age as you, music that was popular when you were a teenager, that sort of thing. If they are totally clueless about everything you're talking about that's a clue that they're not the age they've said.

A good rule of thumb is not to say anything to someone online that you wouldn't say to a total stranger or to your neighbor's teenage daughter, at least until you've talked with them a long time and are fairly certain they're not lying about their age.

ha..its like thinking how many stars we have in universe but as astronomer assumed in billion by some experiment you also can predict their age in mesenger in same way..
you can get their age in profile if they have mentione honestly
in chat dialogue box go to -action and the to -contact options and there you can find -view profile
if not there then talk about his aim if he/she tell s you mine is like ..and like then you assumed that they are not too old and if they are alreaady working than it tell yu diff. in same way talk about their hobbies... there is many way to predict their age if you reall wanna know....
