You dont have to marry someone to be with them for the rest of your life.
With that said I was once the girl in this situation. I was so in love, even though we are not together he is still the love of my life. You should not worrie what others think. If you are being treated right and so is she. You are better off then most of them. You should give it time, see where it goes. Take it slow of course. If you love her and shes good to you, your paretns will love her too. Just be honest with everyone and nobody can get to mad at you if you do that.

You know age is not a problem if you know how to handle it. The difference between you is not that big! My boyfriend is 6 years older than me and yeah we have some different ideas, likes, dislikes but that's totally normal even in couples with the same age! About your family...you are not your family and you need to find happiness for you not for them, it may sound selfish but your parents won't live your life so you gotta find and do what makes you happy..and if this girl does...go for her!

Well if you love her so much than wait until you are 18 and leagally an adult. Then you can make your own choices and decissions. If she truly loves you than she will wait as well. Whatever you do don't have sex though. If your parents dont like her and your underage they can charge her with rape, and I am sure thats the last thing either of you want. a year isnt so long to wait if you really love each other.

If you want to marry her, and you love her enough, go for it. The age difference isn't the end of the world. Don't let your parents rule your future - but don't be disrespectful to them, they're doing what they think is best despite the circumstances.

hi, yourself, you are 17 if you are really in love with her then when
you get 18 then you can marry her if that what you both want
but as time goes by you both may see that things changes people
changes,etc so dont be to upset with your parents. just wait
and see how you both feel when you get 18, then you can do
what every you want.
