Do you have the v chip?

Some wonderful man told of the v chip to block out bad words from dvds. E-bay does carry them. Do you have one or know anyone who has one? This would help in so many ways.

no but my friend had one and it helps keep your kids away from learning swear words and i think it also is like parental control like blocking mature shows but that i dont know

The V-chip is already integrated in new TVs and probably DVD players with parental controls.
It does not block bad words, but it can block from viewing content depending on its rating.
You can't buy a V chip by itself, you will have to buy a new TV or DVD player.
